Modification du locotracteur Davenport de Bachmann 3

Cette partie ne s'adresse aux modélistes qui utilisent l'atelage kadee 0n3.

Il faut supprimer la "barre" se trouvant en dessus du boitier de l'attelage avant et fraiser l'arrière de cette ouverture.

 

This part is addressed only to the model makers who use the kadee 0n3, 

It is necessary to remove the “bar” being in top of the box of the front coupler and to mill the back of this opening.

Pour cacher le vide sous le boitier de l'attelage, on collera un profile équerre en laiton.   

Collage à l'Araldite

To hide the space under the box of the coupler, we glue one square brass profile.

Nous enlevons la partie de l'attelage on3 qui se trouve dans le boitier. (partie clair)

Ensuite nous perçons la partie avant

We remove the part of the coupler on3 which is in the box. (part clear) 

Then we bore the front part

 

Nous faisons de même pour la partie avant l'attelage H0 fournis par Bachmann (partie clair)

 

We make in the same way for the front part of  the H0 coupler provided by Bachmann (part clear)

 

Et nous emboitons l'arrière de l'attelage H0 dans le trou fait plus ou moins rectangulaire à l'arrière de l'attelage On3

 

Collage à la Cyano

 

And we fit together the back of the H0 coupler in the hole makes more or less rectangular with the back of on3 coupler

Nous fixons les attelages au moyen de vis M1.6 dont le diamètre de la tête a été réduit pour pouvoir être enfilées dans les trous existants.

D'autre part vous remarquez les plaques qui servent à cacher les ouvertures se trouvant au dessus de l'attelage.

Collage à l'Araldite

We fix the coupler with a screw M1.6 whose diameter of the head was reduced to be able to be threaded in the existing holes. 

In addition you notice the plates which are used to hide the openings being with the top of the coupler.
