It is set in California in the 1930's, the trees are all hand-made using
horse hair some are 1200mm high! 

 
Lightning Strike Gold Mine. Trains collected gold ore here to take to the
smelter.

The donkey engine and log loader both scratch built and heavily weathered.
A Shay crosses the trestle bridge with logs for the mill.
